Radobýl is a basalt hill located in the Central Bohemian Highlands. It rises above the village of Žalhostice on the right bank of the river Elbe, 3 km west of Litoměřice.
The characteristic,half-"bitten" silhouette of the hill is due to a former quarry, which uncovered and extracted a large part of the western side of the hill on several floors
The marked tourist path with a turn to the top leads both from the south of Žalhostice and from the north of the road from Litoměřice. From the bare top of Radobýl, set with a massive cross (the current metal one comes from 1992), there is an almost circular view of Litoměřice, Terezín Basin, Elbe, Píšťanské Lake, Lovosice and the adjacent part of the Central Bohemian Highlands
